A standard registration takes 10-12 months from the date of filing an application to the grant of a patent. If the applicant wants to speed up the process, the company's lawyers are able to put in additional efforts and register industrial design in an accelerated procedure.

Acceleration of consideration of the application

This is achieved due to the patent search procedure carried out by specialists of Rospatent in a short time. Using this procedure, the applicant will receive the first correspondence from the Patent Office no later than 2 months from the date of filing an application.

The cost of the procedure depends on the number of ICID groups required for the search, which are determined by the Rospatent expert at the stage of preparation for the search. As a result, the applicant receives information about the patent search in Russian and foreign databases.
