The article Russian case study - defending “Suzuki” was published in the second issue of the international edition.

In this work, the features of the protection of trademarks that are identical or similar to the point of confusion with the already registered designations that are used for heterogeneous goods from other classes of the ICSTU are considered.

As an example, Alexandra cites a case on the conflict between Dunham Investment Inc., whose interests were represented by Zuykov and partners, and Suzuki Motor Corporation regarding the trademark Suzuki. A long lasting confrontation due to the competent tactics was resolved in favor of Dunham Investment Inc.
