As part of the exhibition’s business program, Roman Larshin, Head of the Legal Department at Zuykov and Partners, held a seminar titled “How to Combat Counterfeiting on Marketplaces.”

During the seminar, the expert addressed current issues related to the protection of fashion brands amid the growth of e-commerce and the expanding presence of products on online marketplaces. Particular attention was paid to identifying infringements, protecting intellectual property rights, and selecting effective tools to combat counterfeit goods.

The seminar covered the following key topics:

  • Marketplaces as the main challenge for fashion brands: the anatomy of copying.
  • Brand and reputation protection: an effective process from detection to filing a claim.
  • Cost-effective protection: how automation can reduce the costs of protecting a fashion brand.
  • Protection that pays off: compensation as a way to legally recover losses from infringers.

Zuykov and Partners’ participation in TEXTILLEGPROM provided an opportunity to discuss current brand protection issues with representatives of the textile and light industries, share practical experience, and present approaches to combating intellectual property infringements in the digital environment.
