The IP Service World International Conference was held in Munich

In November, Sergey Zuykov, the managing partner of the company “Zuykov and Partners,” and OlgaDolgikh, the head of the patent department, attended the IP Service World Conference. The event hasbeen held since 2010 and it is considered to be one of the largest in Europe in terms of the number ofattendees and exhibitors.On the first day, the panel discussions were held during which the strategies and management ofintellectual property, the conditions of effective patent monitoring, and also the use of the informationtechnologies in the industry were discussed.The second day of the Conference was devoted to the consideration of the peculiarities and innovations ina patent search, the discussions on the balance between the beneficial and practical use of intellectualproperty and the society transformations analysis due to the digital technologies development.At the end, on the 28 th of November, the intensive master classes were held on the following topics: “Thetasks of the information technologies in the field of intellectual property,” “Intellectual property will helpto overcome the lack of the innovative activity” and “Support for the intellectual property subject mattersin the innovative life cycle: the best practical examples of acts and solutions.”The attendees of the Conference get a unique opportunity not only to get acquainted and communicatewith the world experts in the field of intellectual property, but also to develop their own strategies ofbehavior in controversial issues arising in the management of the intellectual property subject matters.
