On June 26, the session "Structural Transformation of the Economy and Intellectual Property Law: Interplay and Development Trends" was held as part of the St. Petersburg International Legal Forum (SPILF) 2026.

Experts and government officials discussed the current state of intellectual property rights in the context of the ongoing transformation of the Russian economy.

During his presentation, Managing Partner Sergey Zuykov focused on the challenges of interaction between online marketplaces and IP rights holders. He also highlighted the recent Ruling No. 39-P concerning the constitutional review of Clauses 1 and 3 of Article 1253.1 of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation.
