A discussion on the creation of an alternative International Association of Patent Attorneys and Lawyers was held at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry

On August 30, a regular meeting of the Working Group on Improving Intellectual Property Legislation and Law Enforcement Practice was held at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation.

The main issue was addressed by the Deputy Chairman of the Council of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation on Intellectual Property, Head of the Working Group Sergey Zuykov, who proposed to discuss the initiative to create an alternative International Association of Patent Attorneys and lawyers involved in the protection of intellectual property.

It was decided to further formulate the main goals and objectives of the association, decide on the composition of its founders and further steps in terms of coordinating this initiative with state authorities.
