What Trademarks Cannot Be Registered?

Not all texts and word, phrases, and images are eligible for registration. There are a number of limitations. If you are going to register a trademark unassisted please read carefully the article 1483 of the Civil code of the Russian Federation.

To identify a brand you cannot use generally adopted names, family names of people famous in Russia, offensive phrases and images, as well as foul terms. And this is not the full list of grounds for the prohibition on the trademark registration by Rospatent.
