Sergey Zuykov took part in BRICS+ New Economy Legal Forum’24

On March 6-8, the BRICS+ New Economy Legal Forum, part of the New Economy Legal forum line, was held in Dubai, UAE. The purpose of the forums is to discuss topical legal and economic issues, as well as to create a legal infrastructure for international trade and investment in the new macroeconomic environment.

The forum's audience includes top managers and heads of legal departments of Russian and international corporations, partners of leading law firms in Russia, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, China, India, Brazil, South Africa, Turkey and other countries.

During the Forum, participants held round tables in the following areas: BRICS+ as a zone for the development of international economic relations, BRICS+ arbitration: a new tool for ensuring access to justice, urgent business issues in the legal reality.

Sergey Zuykov, Managing Partner of Zuykov and partners, moderated the round table on topical practical issues of the IP sphere and spoke on the regulation of parallel imports in the BRICS+ area. The participants of this discussion also discussed problematic issues of protection and use of trademarks registered in China, legal and practical aspects of franchising in the UAE, and other topics.
