欧亚专利区域阶段
《欧亚专利公约》（以下称《公约》）于 1994 年 9 月 9 日在莫斯科签署，1995 年 8 月 12 日生效。《公约》及其建立的欧亚专利组织的主要目标是在《公约》所有缔约国领土实施欧亚统一专利的基础上，建立一套保护发明专利的制度。
欧亚专利组织的成员国有：土库曼斯坦、白俄罗斯、塔吉克斯坦、哈萨克斯坦、阿塞拜疆、吉尔吉斯斯坦、亚美尼亚和俄罗斯。
欧亚专利的有效期限为自提交欧亚发明专利申请之日起 20 年。获得欧亚专利需要向欧亚专利局提交申请，由其对申请进行实质审查。
专利授权后，由申请人决定在哪些缔约国生效，并缴纳相关规费。
《公约》还为公约缔约国的法人和自然人提供相当大的规费优惠。与在每个国家逐一申请专利相比，为申请人节约了不少费用和时间。
